About Me

Prior to entering into private practice, I was employed as an inpatient therapist by Integris Mental Health for 6 years. Prior to working at Integris Health, I was employed at the Parent’s Assistance Center and was involved in the development of the curriculum for therapeutic play groups for children ages 3 to 12.

Although my primary orientation in psychotherapy is Cognitive Behavioral and Attachment based, I am proficient in other theories. I have worked with many individuals having various mental health concerns, my specialties are trauma, codependency, and women’s issues.

I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK and in my spare time I enjoy my family of five. One of my current passions is the co-founding of a mental health foundation called Pier 34. You can see my reviews at healthgrades.com: https://www.healthgrades.com/providers/jennifer-cox-yqxy5
